Honestly, why is anyone getting excited about a calender program? Is it the ‘Google can do no wrong’ halo effect?
It’s not just Google doing calendars. There’s a rash of them at the moment.
If you look at the uptake of calendars (and other multi-user apps) in the enterprise (at least those that have implemented them properly, eg universal access to a platform that does a decent job of it), potentially this could be very popular, since it spreads the calendar use beyond corporate networks. But for me the clincher will be if it syncs with my mobile phone calendar.
